The Advanced Star

The Advanced Star has several categories: Artisan, Conservation, homemakers, Recreation, Spiritual Growth and Ministry, Technician, and Wilderness Awards. The Artisan is the only category with enough alternatives to have an Intermediate section at this time. This star belongs at the top of the first star saving the bottom for the Advanced star.

Master Awards

By completing 7 eligible honors one can also qualify for a Master Award patch which recognizes mastery in the category.

By completing 14 eligible honors one can also qualify for a Master Award patch and a star which recognizes mastery as ether intermediate or advanced in the category, depending on the requirements offered for that master award. (Only some have the Intermediate star and several have the challenge of the Advanced without the overlap other master Awards.

The patches are larger than regular honor patches and reflect the subject matter. The Master Awards (with requirements listed on the Master Award pages) currently available are:


Note: The Witnessing Master Award has been retired and replaced by the Spiritual Growth and Ministries Master Award and the Family, Origins, and Heritage Master Award.
