The Great Disappointment really was a Magnificent Disappointment. From it event the Adventist Church has arised with a complete mesage for the world. We have to consider various aspects of the Millerite Movement. When william Miller discovered the proximate fulfillment of the "2300 days" prophecy in Dan. 8: 14. He was compelled to share his studies from the Bible. So he started to preach in many places. He preaches for about 13 years, and established 14 rules of interpretation from the Bible. Miller realized from three unfulfilled prophecies that all of them will finish in 1843. He really believe that, so many persons join him to continue his studies. Some of them put specific dates for the return of Christ to th earth.
