Categorization

I believe this should be categorized in the «Other» section, where the pins and awards go. The NAD sets aside awards such as «Pathfinder Evangelism» and «Adventist Church Heritage», and does not consider them as regular honors, since they incorporate more time and work to complete. I remember this being explained when I took the Basic Staff Training and I also teach this when I myself give the training.

I also wanted to know if there is a specific reason that the awards' requirements are not listed here, only the link (all of which are no longer working links). --w126jep 17:41, 14 September 2014 (EDT)

This honor is indeed a regular Pathfinder honor rather than an award. It was originally filed under the "other" category, because the Honors Committee was considering a new "Heritage" honor category, and this one would have been filed there. The committee eventually declined to add the Heritage category, so the honor, as per the committee's decision, went under Outreach. At the same time, Jonaten Tejel has undertaken the task of reviewing the Outreach category at the GC level with an eye towards reorganizing the Witnessing Master award, and adding a few other Master awards to the Outreach category. This is still under study as far as I know. The Adventist Church Heritage honor was also approved by the honor committee as an honor. --Jomegat 20:54, 14 September 2014 (EDT)
