I wanted to suggest that you add that information directly into the [[Adventist_Youth_Honors_Answer_Book/Camping/Take_pictures_leave_footprints|Take Picture, Leave Footprints]] template. That way, wherever that template is present, it will automatically include the "7 Principles" and you won't have to go and manually change every single entry.

Hey thanks for the suggestion! That would have made it a lot easier if I had known how to do that. Ill Just edit this page and undo the other edits so its not redundant. How do I find those templates? There is another one I would like to adjust about what to do when lost. I have a lot to learn about how this website works.

7 Principles of Leave No Trace

Hello, Olcoleman! Thanks for adding the "7 Principles of Leave No Trace" to all those different honors! I think that is a great addition for our Pathfinders to be aware of.

I wanted to suggest that you add that information directly into the Take Picture, Leave Footprints template. That way, wherever that template is present, it will automatically include the "7 Principles" and you won't have to go and manually change every single entry.

Let me know if you have any questions about how to go about doing this or anything else you're curious about! --w126jep (talk) 13:51, 16 October 2020 (EDT)

Hey thanks for the suggestion! That would have made it a lot easier if I had known how to do that. Ill Just edit this page and undo the other edits so its not redundant. How do I find those templates? There is another one I would like to adjust about what to do when lost. I have a lot to learn about how this website works.

If you are editing and see that information is included from another file, you can scroll to the bottom of the page and look for a "Show templates used on this page" button. Unfortunately, it won't appear if you're editing a section - you have to edit the whole page by pressing the Edit button in the tab along the top. --20:59, 18 October 2020 (EDT)
The way described above on how to find the template is the easiest and simplest way. Once you are redirected to the template page, just edit it like any other normal page. Once you save the edits, they will automatically appear wherever the template is included.
Do not hesitate to make edits or experiment, administrators have the ability to "undo" something if it doesn't come out right. It took me a lot of trial and error before I got more or less the hang of it, and even now I still consider myself a novice. Ask away if you are still uncertain about something. --w126jep (talk) 08:36, 19 October 2020 (EDT)
