Summary

An articulated skeleton of Acrocanthosaurus, at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. Acrocanthosaurus was a Lower Cretaceous carnosaur, and a contemporary of the large sauropod Paluxysaurus (formerly Pleurocoelus), the state dinosaur of Texas.
