In deep snow, you can dig a snow cave and use that for shelter.  Try to make a sleeping platform higher than the floor, as this will keep you warmer.  Place something on top of the platform so that you do not sleep directly on the snow.  Leaves, pine needles, or if you have one, a sleeping pad will all work well for this.
