There are many programs that can be used to meet this requirement.  Some programs can be purchased at a store, and others can be downloaded for free (legally!) from the Internet.  Some excellent programs that can be downloaded for free include [http://openoffice.org OpenOffice] (an Office suite with a word processor, spread sheet, presentation program, and drawing package), [http://getfirefox.com Firefox] (a web browser), [http://getthunderbird.com Thunderbird] (an email program), and [http://gimp.org The Gimp] (a photo/image editing program).  All of these programs are of excellent quality and compare very favorably to their commercial counterparts.  Best of all, they are FREE.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
