Rodney East works with a Pathfinder Club in Glenn Ellyn Illinois, and has been involved with Pathfinder from the age of 9 when his grandmother introduced him to the stars by working on the Star honor.<br />

He studied everything he could find on astronomy as he was growing up and finally graduated from [http://www.puc.edu/ Pacific Union College] with a Bachelors degree in Physics with an emphasis in Astronomy.<br />

He now works in the Information Technology group of the Advanced Photon Source at Argonne National Laboratory.<br />
