El nivel de Amigo ha sido diseñado para estar al alcance de una persona en el grado quinto o más alto. Debe ser desafiante, pero alcanzable para un niño en este punto de su estudio.

Estudiar la guía devocional semanal (semanas 1 a 13) y el libro de Mateo utilizando recursos impresos o electrónicos.

Guía Devocional Semanal
El propósito de este requisito es que el Conquistador conecte con Dios cada día y ayudar a establecer las devociones personales para toda la vida. No es para que se haga como un maratón y sentarse y leer los más posible en una vez. Al leer la guía devocional de trece semanas, el Conquistador debe obtener una perspectiva más amplia de la Biblia. Pueden utilizar sus Biblias, computadoras u otros dispositivos electrónicos o de audio para completar este requisito.
Además de los estudios temáticos: Amigos son introducidos a nuestro amigo Jesús a través de los relatos de Mateo. Compañeros aprenden acerca de los orígenes del mundo a través de Génesis. Exploradores exploran a la iglesia primitiva en los Hechos. Orientadores vuelven a la historia de Jesús en Juan. Viajeros experimentan de la salvación como lo explica Pablo en Romanos. Guías cubren la profecía del tiempo del fin y los acontecimientos en el Apocalipsis.

LLevar un diario con sus pensamientos por medio de hacer estas preguntas:
Puede llevar su diario por medio de escribir, dibujar o procesos electrónicos. |
Las preguntas deben ser hechas en relación con los textos bíblicos leídos en el Requisito 2a. El punto de que el Conquistador responda estas preguntas es para animarle a pensar sobre el texto de una manera diferente que tal vez no haya hecho antes. Es fácil leer un pasaje largo y ni siquiera pensar en él. Llevar un diario ayudará a prevenir esto.
La manera en que se lleva el diario se debe dejar al Conquistador.
Escribir
Algunas personas le es más cómodo escribir las cosas. Esto se puede hacer con un lápiz (o bolígrafo) y con un papel en un cuaderno, en un diario, en un procesador de textos, o incluso en un blog o una publicación en una red social.
Dibujar
Algunos niños no les gusta escribir y resistirán fuertemente. Ellos tal vez prefieren ilustrar los conceptos, y esa es una forma válida para documentar sus pensamientos.
Procesos Electrónicos
El Conquistador puede optar por escribir sus entradas de diario en un procesador de textos, un blog o una red social. Aunque se puede considerar estas entradas como escribir o un «proceso electrónico», hay otras opciones disponibles. Por ejemplo, los Conquistadores tal vez quieran hacer una grabación de audio o de video de sus pensamientos. Si ellos tienen el equipo, se debe animar esto. Si no se sienten cómodos compartiendo el material con el club, no los obligue hacerlo.

The Pathfinder Pledge and Law are listed below. These should be recited during a Pathfinder Club's opening exercises at the beginning of each meeting. By the end of the Pathfinder year, every Pathfinder in regular attendance will know them by heart without any effort on the part of the instructors (or the Pathfinders).

Pathfinder Law
Every young person should have a code by which to shape his life. For the Adventist youth, the Pledge and Law is that code. These must be learned and their principles put into practice.
The Pathfinder Law is for me to:

| Keep a song in my heart | I will be cheerful and happy and let the influence of my life be sunshine to others |
| Go on God's errands | I will always be ready to share my faith and go about doing good as did Jesus |

Aprender el himno de los Conquistadores.

El Himno del Conquistador debe ser cantado al comienzo de cada reunión regular de Conquistadores. Al fin del año, cada Conquistador que asiste regularmente sabrá el himno sin ningún esfuerzo adicional.
