The Louisiana state animal is the Louisiana Black Bear (Ursus americanus luteolus).
e. State flag
4. Name the state song and motto.
The Louisiana state song is You Are My Sunshine", written by former Louisiana State Governor Jimmie Davis and Charles Mitchell.
The motto is "Union, Justice and Confidence."
