Overview

This honour explains the central individuals who contributed to the development of the Seventh-day Adventist movement beginning in North America in the 1800’s, and its spread throughout the world today. It focuses on Millerite Adventism, the formation of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and its worldwide mission. Finally, it allows Pathfinders to research how the message came to be shared in their own local area, including stories of key people and/or the formation of churches and/or schools. The aim of this honour is to show Pathfinders that they are part of an amazing miracle story of what God is doing today.

The Challenging Part

The most challenging requirement of this honor is probably this:

12. As a club, research how the Adventist message first came to your state, province or other local region. In your own words, briefly share how and when this happened, and the names of two key people who helped to do it.
