1. Meet an organic farmer (or gardener) and learn how this type of farming protects the environment.
2. Visit the farmer's crops or garden.
3. What fertilizers are used in organic farming?
4. What treatments (insecticides, fungicides, etc.) are used?
5. Explain how to make compost.
6. Plant a tree in the farmer's garden (if possible). Explain its purpose. Or, in a planter or a pot, plant useful aromatic plants for the kitchen.
7. Bring one of the farmer's plants and make a presentation in front of your club explaining the appeal of organic farming for nature and living beings.
8. Keep houseplants at home (fertilizer, treatments, etc.) with organic products.
