Regarding divorce, Jesus taught that the person who divorces a spouse, except for fornication, and marries another, commits adultery. Although some family relationships may fall short of the ideal, a man and a woman who fully commit themselves to each other in Christ through marriage may achieve loving unity through the guidance of the Spirit and the nurture of the church.

Concernant le divorce, Jésus a enseigné que la personne qui, sauf pour impudicité, se sépare de son conjoint et en épouse un autre commet un adultère. Bien que certaines relations familiales puissent ne pas atteindre l'idéal, les époux qui se dévouent l'un à l'autre en Christ peuvent néanmoins réaliser leur unité d'amour grâce à la direction du Saint-Esprit et au ministère de L'Église.
