Wood Sorrel

Dónde se encuentra: Occurs throughout most of the world, except for the polar areas.

Disponibilidad: Spring, Summer, Fall

Uso: Use the raw leaves, stems, and flowers as a refreshing, sour addition to a salad. Steep in boiling water for 10 minutes to make a tea.

ADVERTENCIA: Wood sorrel contains small amount of oxalic acid which gives it its pleasantly sour taste. If eaten in large quantities over a period of time, however, may inhibit the body's ability to absorb calcium.
