2. Describe the safety equipment used in skating.
3. Mention at least three sports in which skates are used.
4. Describe the difference between the following types of skates:
- a. Roller
- b. Traditional
- c. Ice
5. For each of the types of skates mentioned in requirement 4, mention:
- a. Appropriate place for use
- b. At least 3 events in which each type is used
- c. Advantages provided by the model
- d. Disadvantages
6. Know how to complete maintenance on the skates and explain it (choose a type that can be used in your region).
7. Perform the following while skating:
- a. Know how to increase speed
- b. Know how to brake quickly
- c. Skate backwards
- d. Increase speed and glide, squatting for at least 5 meters
- e. Change directions (right and left)
- f. Speed up and jump over an object
- g. Make a 360° turn on one foot
8. Research one of the sports events in requirement 3 and mention the rules, the level of the competences, and the categories and interesting information about the sport.
