Overview

Snapshot: Know how heraldry has infiltrated into the fabric of your everyday life; learn how to design a coat of arms; learn for what the heraldry terms relative to the coat of arms apply; learn what led to the introduction of graphic charges on the coat of arms; learn the difference between a standard, banner and pennon; learn how heraldry dealt with the issue of siblings using the coat of arms of their father; learn how marshalling answered issues dealing with the application of multiple coats of arms applying to one family.

Please note: This honor is based upon the British model for heraldry. Whilst the rules are similar with other countries, those of other countries who wish to undertake this honor should check the rules as they apply in their country of residence.
