AY Honor Disc Golf Requirements
1. Summarize the game of disc golf, including its origin and growth over time.
2. Identify and describe the following used for disc golf:

3. Discs are designed with a flight pattern in mind, defined by a series of numbers. Another term used is the disc's stability. Explain the meaning of each of the flight-related terms listed below.

4. Illustrate a disc catcher, including all parts and measurements.
5. Discover the basic rules of professional disc golf. Discover what rules are used on the course you will be using.
6. List and discuss at least five basic rules of etiquette used while playing disc golf.
7. Demonstrate the following throws and techniques:
- a. Backhand throw
- b. Run-up for backhand (X-step)
- c. Anhyzer throw
- d. Forehand throw
- e. Approach shot

8. Develop three different ways disc golf can be used as an evangelistic tool. Implement one of these plans.
9. List at least two spiritual and/or character-building lessons you can learn from disc golf and give personal testimony/examples how you have used these traits outside of disc golf.
10. Play at least three 9-hole rounds (total of 27 holes). Practice good etiquette and demonstrate good technique for the various kinds of throws. Keep score.
