2. Define or explain the following within a Biblical context:

3. Read one of the gospels in any translation.

4. Memorize or illustrate in detail any two of the following. Be able to discuss/explain each verse’s importance.

a. Beatitudes (Matthew 3:3-12)

b. Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13)

c. Christ’s Return (Matthew 24:4-7, 11-14)

d. Gospel Commission (Matthew 28:18-20)

5. Memorize the New Testament books of the Bible in order and know the four areas into which the books are grouped. Demonstrate your ability to find any given book. OR create a simple game or verse/song to help someone else learn the order of the New Testament books.

6. Choose, in consultation with your leader, one of the following:

  • One of Christ’s Parables (Prodigal Son, Good Samaritan, other)
  • One of Christ’s Miracles (Blind beggar, Lazarus, Crippled Man, other)
  • Spiritual Dialogue (Zacchaeus, Woman at the Well, Nicodemus)

Then, show your knowledge of what Christ taught (through word and action) in one of the following ways:

  • Discussion with the leader
  • Group activity (game, skit)
  • Giving a talk
  • Visual display

7. On a map drawn of the Biblical era, identify the following locations and explain their significance:

a. Bethlehem

b. Sea of Gennesaret/Galilee

c. Nazareth

d. Jordan River

8. Share your understanding of how Jesus saves individuals by using one of the following methods:

a. Group discussion with your leader.
