| h English (en) | </noinclude> The person who creates the cache and submits it to the reviewers for publication. They have control of their cache and those who place online logs. If the cache has been proven to not have been actually found and log signed they can delete your found it online log if needed. Or if answers are required to be supplied to the CO for logging permission and this has not been done or the answers are not correct the CO can delete the found it log. They also will usually contact the other cacher giving them time to re-answer questions. It is their responsibility to maintain their cache. The CO if there is an issue with the cache or been reported as needing maintenance can place the cache under a 'Disable'.This means that it is out of action and cachers should NOT go looking for and logging it. There may be other logical reason for a cache to be Disabled (disease in the forest, area made out of bounds by the local authorities) If a cacher decides to ignore this Disabled mark the CO will and should automatically delete the find. The CO can also Archive the cache. This means that the cache is no longer available to be found. This could be due to: needing to be replaced too often, the reason for a cache is no longer there, CO now lives too far away or is retired from the game, the tree/fence it was attached to is no longer there. It is the COs responsibility to remove the containers that have been archived. |
