In a forested area, build a lean-to. This is done by finding two trees about 2 meters6 feet apart, and lashing a horizontal pole to them, about 1.3 meters4 feet from the ground. Then find more poles, and lay one end of each on the horizontal pole, and the other end on the ground. This will take several poles, as they should be lain side-by-side all the way across. Finally, cover the poles with a layer of debris - leaf litter, twigs, moss - whatever you can find.
