Firmes con el banderín

Order Guidon is basically like standing at ATTENTION. The guidon rests on the ground next to your right foot. The staff of the guidon is held between your thumb and index finger and rests against your shoulder. Your right arm should remain behind the staff of the guidon. When doing ABOUT FACE, LEFT FACE, or RIGHT FACE, lift the guidon 1 or 2 inches off the ground while turning and then return the guidon to the ground as before.

Llevar/portar el banderín

Carry Guidon refers to how a guidon is to be held while moving. When FORWARD MARCH is called the guidon is lifted 6 inches off the ground. When the drill instructor calls "FORWARD" you lift the guidon 6 inches with your right arm, then hold the guidon staff with your left arm reaching across your chest while sliding your right hand back down 6 inches to hold the guidon while marching. When the drill instructor calls "MARCH" you then drop your left arm back to your side while stepping forward with your left foot (just as you would when marching any other time). To lower the guidon when finished moving (when the drill instructor calls HALT), take your left arm across your chest to steady the guidon and then let it gently slide to the ground. Once the guidon is resting on the ground again, drop your left arm back to your side.

Demostrar cómo y cuándo usar las posiciones básicas del banderín durante todas las órdenes de comando.

Ser un miembro activo de un equipo de marchas que ha realizado una marcha por los menos 2 veces en el año pasado en una actividad especial de la comunidad, la asociación o una actividad pública.

Demostrar capacidad para mantener el paso con el equipo de marchas y moverse como parte de él en todo momento.

Como miembro de un equipo de marchas, hacer cuatro rutinas de marcha bien vistosas (precisas), por lo menos una de los cuales incluya combinación de comandos.

Dirigir un equipo de marchas de al menos cuatro personas, guiando el equipo a través de maniobras básicas, comenzando los comandos direccionales con el pie correcto, y distinguir entre los comandos preparativos y los comandos ejecutivos.

Dirigir un club de Conquistadores entero en al menos 10 movimientos básicos de marchas, incluyendo las formaciones abiertas al aire libre.

Con una unidad (o una determinada escolta de bandera), izar y arriar la bandera nacional en la ceremonia de un campamento de verano, una reunión especial de los Conquistadores, el programa del día de los Conquistadores, un campestre, o algún programa o ceremonia similar. También demostrar cómo se exhibe (se coloca) la bandera nacional y la de los Conquistadores en lugares públicos.
