1. Prepare to participate in a Pathfinder Bible Experience (PBE) Challenge by:

a. Learning about the PBE, its purpose and history. Discuss the importance and benefits of memorisation of large sections of the Bible.

b. Discuss at least three different memorisation techniques, try at least two of these to see which works best for you. Discuss which one works best for you.

c. Form a team of at least four and a maximum of six participants from your club or area and commit to participating in an upcoming PBE challenge.

d. Develop a study plan and schedule for reading, understanding and memorising the set passage of Scripture.

e. Participate in group review sessions and self testing.

f. As a team, practice a mock PBE competition to simulate the actual event and build teamwork skills.

g. Discuss the importance of teamwork, strategy development, sportsmanship, positive attitude during practice and events.

2. Participate in a Pathfinder Bible Experience competition challenge event organised by your Conference, Union or Division.

3. Reflect on your time preparing for and participating in the competition:

a. What did you most value or appreciate in the experience?

b. Is there anything you will take with you into your personal Bible study/walk with Jesus?

c. What was the most challenging part of the experience?

d. What might you do differently next time?
