This honor introduces youth to the exciting winter sport of ice skating. It combines historical knowledge, understanding of different skating disciplines, practical skills, safety awareness, and a spiritual application. The Ice Skating Honor encourages youth to enjoy a healthy, active winter sport while learning respect for safety, appreciation for its history, and the value of perseverance. It blends fun physical activity with practical knowledge and a meaningful connection to Christian faith.It is especially suitable for winter months and can be completed on indoor, outdoor, or natural ice surfaces.
