Complete a nine-week Academy Bible course in Daniel and Revelation OR complete the following requirements:
1. Lead other Bible Discovery honor earners in a significant time of prayer prior to studying or exploring the Bible. Hold each other accountable to praying for God’s guidance while completing this honor. Share answers to that prayer as a group.
2. Explain the importance of each of the following terms for Christians in the modern era.

3. Compare and contrast the three major Christian eschatological views: historicist, preterist, and futurist. Use a Venn diagram, chart, or illustration to visualize similarities and differences. Then, defend the historicist view held by Seventh-day Adventists using Biblical and logical evidence, either in a short paper or group presentation.
4. In a sentence or two each, describe the historical and prophetic significance of each of the following individuals.

5. Choose seven of the following verses and write, illustrate, post or present a brief reflection explaining why they are especially important in understanding end-time prophecy.

6. Using a Bible map, locate each of the following sites relevant to Daniel’s life and ministry. Then, explain why Daniel’s ministry took place in Babylon instead of Jerusalem and reflect on how location impacted his influence.

7. Read one narrative from Daniel 1–6. Then choose one of the following response activities:
- a. Create a modern-day retelling of the story (as a written story or scripted skit). Highlight how the story’s spiritual and moral values apply to Christian youth today.
- b. Create an art piece (drawing, painting, sculpture, or mixed media) that expresses the most important spiritual lesson you learned from the story. Write a short explanation of your piece.
8. Discuss why an understanding of Amos 3:7 is essential when learning about the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation.
9. Do one of the following:
- a. Briefly outline the historical Adventist understanding of the events that lead up to the dates for EITHER the beginning and end of the 2,300 day prophecy and the 70 weeks prophecy, OR the Kingdoms illustrated by the image of Daniel 2 and the Beasts of Daniel 7. You may use charts, graphs, and illustrations to demonstrate your learning.
- b. Compare and contrast the six-seven parts of each of the letters to the seven churches of Revelation 1-3. Use a word or phrase to summarize each point. Highlight the portions of each message that you believe have relevance to the modern Christian church even today.
- c. Compare Revelation 6 and 7 with the end-time sermon of Jesus reported in Matthew 24:3-31; Mark 13:3-27; and Luke 21:7-28. Underline all key words and ideas in common. Chart the parallels between the different passages. Afterwards, evaluate verbally or by writing why Revelation 6 and 7 are so important in understanding these other passages.
- d. After reading Revelation 19-22 Outline with textual references the events surrounding Jesus' second coming, the millenium, the end of sin, and the new earth. Be sure to outline what is happening with Satan, the wicked, the righteous, and Jesus Christ. Evaluate the following questions: 1) Why can't hell be forever burning? 2) Why is eternal death/hell necessary? 3) What makes eternal life in heaven with Jesus "worth it all"? Write and answer at least three additional questions you had while studying this topic.
- e. Learn more about the Bible’s teaching on last-day events before Jesus returns. With your group or leader, explore some key Bible passages—like Matthew 24, Daniel 2, 7, and 8, and Revelation 2–3 and 19–22. After reading and discussing them together, create something to help others understand what’s coming. You can make a timeline, comic strip, illustrated chart, short skit, or presentation.
