The Drawing honor was created in 2013 when the NAD Honor Taskforce voted to expand and replace the Drawing and Painting honor with four new honors: Drawing, Drawing - Advanced, Painting, and Painting - Advanced. The new Painting honors adopted the insignia for the old Drawing and Paining honor, and the new Drawing honor received a new insignia.

Draw a landscape using multi-media.
(Example: pencil and color pencil)

Choose one of the subjects in requirement 2, and create a drawing at least 12 x 18” in pencil. Concentrate on good perspective and depth. Then, using pencil, shade in your work with a minimum of 6-8 changes in value. Be sure to sign your work. When finished, display your work in a public venue.
Happy drawing. Public venues could include school, a Pathfinder fair, a mall display.
