1. Define emotional intelligence.

2. List the various types of human feelings and emotions. Make a list and write an example of when you have experienced them in your life.

3. Look for examples of characters in the Bible who felt:

a. Anger

b. Sadness

c. Joy

d. Disappointment

e. Regret

f. Gratitude

g. Empathy

4. Read Galatians 5:22-23 and write a list of the attributes of the Fruit of the Spirit. Explain in your own words why it is important to develop the Fruit of the Spirit in our lives.

5. Participate in a group discussion about self-esteem.

6. Read Isaiah 43:1-5 and answer:

a. To whom do we belong?

b. What promises does Jesus give us in these verses?

7. What should we do when we experience feelings such as:

a. Anger: Read Proverbs 15:1, James 1:19-20, Ephesians 4:26

b. Fear: Psalm 34:17-18

c. Anxiety: 1 Peter 5:7, Philippians 4:6-8

8. Read Romans 12:15 and explain it in your own words.

a. How does this verse apply to the "golden rule"?

b. Why is this related to empathy?

9. Read Matthew 22:36-40 and talk to your instructor or counselor about the importance of self-love so that later you can love others.

10. Make a list of challenges you should work on to better manage your emotions.


11. Make a video and share it on your social media, talking about how to deal with emotions, based on chapter 84 of the book "Mind, Character, and Personality (Vol. 2)".
