Overview
This is an introduction to the fundamentals of laser technology by teaching what lasers are, how they work, and what makes laser light different from ordinary light. They cover essential laser safety, common real-world applications, and basic concepts such as reflection, collimation, diffraction, and fiber-optic communication. Participants also complete a simple supervised laser demonstration (and optionally use a laser engraver) while reflecting on how the focused, guiding nature of light connects to the message of Psalm 119:105, emphasizing God's guidance and the theme that "together, we are light."
