The composition of an email address is the account name connected to a specific domain. In "webmaster@pathfindersonline.org", a email file is sent to the website domain (www.pathfindersonline.org) and then distributed to the account holder within that domain (webmaster). The email address can be imagined similar to a physical address for the Amazon delivery driver to find your house to properly deliver your package (or USPS your mail!).
