Knowing this, it is easy to figure out the basic use of a concordance. Simply look up the word you are interested in, and then see where it appears in the Bible. Most concordances will also supply a little context - that is, the phrase in which the word appears. This is very useful and will help you find a passage that relates to your research without having to look up the reference in the Bible.
