I think we should ditch the templated requirements for 3, 5, and 6. The original idea was to automatically include them in IA if they ever changed, but the recent change we just had illustrates that this just isn't going to work. I started to just paste the content in, but had second thoughts due to the translation tags. How should we handle this? I already got rid of the inclusion in the Voyager IA class and just pasted the GC requirements in there (sans tags). There are other honor/IA links that do the same thing. We should fix those too once we figure out how to preserve the translations. --[[User:Jomegat|Jomegat]] ([[User talk:Jomegat|talk]]) 20:46, 12 December 2019 (EST) | I think we should ditch the templated requirements for 3, 5, and 6. --Jomegat (talk) 20:46, 12 December 2019 (EST)
- I see what you mean. My suggestion is to just copy and paste all of it, including the tags. I will deal with the translation. I doubt there will be a lot of this going on, so I can handle the few changes made. --w126jep (talk) 14:27, 17 December 2019 (EST)
- The tags have overlapping identifiers vs what's already there. It seems like we shouldn't just copy them. --Jomegat (talk) 17:37, 17 December 2019 (EST)
- Hmm, that is a good point. Then it would be best practice to eliminate the tags from the copied material and just mark the page for translation once copied over. This will produce new tags for translation for the new material. It is not that complicated to just copy over the translation from the original source. -- w126jep (talk) 07:13, 19 December 2019 (EST)
- The tags have overlapping identifiers vs what's already there. It seems like we shouldn't just copy them. --Jomegat (talk) 17:37, 17 December 2019 (EST)
