2. Discuss the principles of building wooden and wooden-rope structures (ex. bridges).

3. Build any camp equipment that requires at least 3 hours of independent work or, in the case of a more advanced design, more hours of work in a group.

4. Demonstrate the proper use of a saw, axe, hammer, shovel/spade, and knife.

5. Demonstrate woodworking skills by performing the following tasks:

a. Cutting

b. Notching

c. Sharpening

d. Debarking

e. Digging

f. Driving
