1. Make a scrapbook to include the following information. Use pictures, maps, or drawings to make it attractive.*

2. Name the state and the year it joined the union.

Massachusetts became a state on the 6th of February 1788, the 6th state to join the Union.

3. Draw or find a picture of the following:

The Massachusetts state flower is the Mayflower (Epigaea repens). It is also known as Trailing Arbutus.
