Amarre en ocho

Dos palos: Se comienza con un ballestrinque y se da vueltas a la cuerda alrededor de los dos postes como muestra la figura. Se «ahorca» el amarre y se asegura con otro ballestrinque. Igualmente es necesario apretar cada vuelta del amarre para darle mayor solidez. Un buen truco para que los mástiles queden mucho más sólidos es unirlos con dos amarres redondos pequeños, uno arriba y otro abajo.

El amarre en ocho usa dos o tres palos o postes, 15 - 20 pies de cuerda.
