Usage

Extra parameters

If the file is your own work, you can add one parameter to tell under which free license you allow the image to be used if in some jurisdiction(s) the image will be protected by copyright. For example: PD-self.

If the file is someone else's work and was previously licensed differently then you can add parameters to tell under which free license the image can be used if in some jurisdiction(s) the image will be protected by copyright. For example: license.

Translation

To create a new language version of this template, create a new subpage and use this code:

{{PD-ineligible/layout
|1={}|2={}|3={}
|text=This image is ineligible for copyright and therefore in the public domain, because it consists entirely of information that is common property and contains no original authorship.
|alternative=In case this image would pass the threshold of originality, {{#if: {} | }}}:User:{}|{},}} the copyright holder, allows the use of this image with the following conditions:
|lang=
}}<noinclude>
license
</noinclude>
