1. Write a brief history of pétanque.

2. Describe the main rules of pétanque in a visual and creative way.

3. Define the following terms: pointer, shooter, midfielder, mounted doublet, melee doublet, mixed triplet.

4. Know about the main brands of pétanque boules and the differences in use. Know how to advise a friend who wants to buy a set of boules (size, weight, coating, etc.).

5. Attend (or participate) in a pétanque competition (village, camping, etc.). Give a brief report to your club.

6. Organize a pétanque competition for your club or church.
