The float and sail of a Portuguese Man O' War (Physalia physalia). This is a colony of specialized hydroids, not a single organism, and not a true Jellyfish. Phylum Cnidaria, Class Hydrozoa, Order Siphonophorae, Family Physaliidae. Washed ashore near Corpus Christi, Texas.
