Many Pathfinder clubs in North America traditionally collect canned goods on Halloween. You can organize the collection very simply through a Sabbath School class, your parents work, your school, or any other way you can think of. Some people will put on a concert or other event with the entry "fee" a canned food item for the food bank.  Be very clear about were the food is going to and it will be easy to collect up some food.

Prologue

Leer la historia de Jesús dando de comer a la multitud en Mateo 14:15-21.

Leer un artículo sobre el tema del hambre mundial. Discutir con su club, unidad o clase de Conquistadores métodos que pueden ser usados para prevenir el hambre.

Preguntarle a una persona quien está involucrado en un depósito comunitario de alimentos, o comedor de beneficencia en su localidad, sobre la clase de personas que ellos sirven, qué causa necesidades alimenticias en la comunidad y cómo ellos alcanzan estas necesidades. Tomar notas.

Recolectar por lo menos 10 artículos de alimentos no perecederos para un depósito de alimentos, centro de Servicio Comunitario Adventista más cercano, o la iglesia adventista para la distribución de aquellos en necesidad.

Requisito alternativo: ensamblar una caja de alimentos para una organización que distribuye alimentos a aquellos en necesidad.

Ser un voluntario en un comedor de beneficencia, en por lo menos un turno de comida o en un depósito de alimentos por dos horas. Esto se puede hacer como un proyecto grupal con otros miembros de su club de Conquistadores o la escuela.

Requisito alternativo: preparar y distribuir seis almuerzos empaquetados a los necesitados o sin hogar.
