Ce badge était la version originale de cette spécialisation remise au Camporée de 2014 Forever Faithful à Oskosh dans le Wiconsin. La présentation a été faite en anglais et en espagnol. Il avait un fond rouge pour indiquer sa catégorie [[AY Honors/Vocational/fr|Vocation]] et inclue un fedora (chapeau associé classiquement aux archéologue de part la popularité des films Indiana Jones), une pelle à main ainsi qu'un artéfact. La Division Sud-Américaine avait proposé une spécialisation similaire en 2012 et ses conditions ont été combinées et intégrées pour former les conditions actuelles. Le design de la version de la Division Sud-Américaine à été également adopté, représentant ce qui s'apparente à une tombe de momie égyptienne et avec un fond bleu foncé, afin de la rattacher à la catégorie [[AY Honors/Spiritual Growth, Outreach and Heritage|Master Croissance spirituelle et ministères]].

This patch was the original version for this proposed honor given out at the Forever Faithful Camporee in 2014 at Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The presentation was given in English and Spanish. It had a red background to denote its [[AY Honors/Vocational|Vocational]] category and included a fedora hat (stereotypically associated with archaeologists due to the popularity of the Indiana Jones movies), a hand shovel, and an artifact. The South American Division had come up with a similar honor in 2012 and its requirements were combined and integrated to form the current requirements. The SAD's version of the patch design was also adopted, showcasing what appears to be an Egyptian mummy tomb and having a dark blue background, which belongs to the [[AY Honors/Spiritual Growth, Outreach and Heritage|Spiritual Growth, Outreach & Heritage]] category.
